Office Administration
What is it?
Business and Office Administration programs and degrees offer students the opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for entry into postsecondary education, for entry-level employment in business, and for effective application of business concepts and skills to personal transactions.
Darton College is proud to offer several Business and Office Administration programs to its students. They include:
- Office Administration (Secretarial Science) Associate of Science Degree program – prepares the student to transfer to a four year university
- Office Administration (Secretarial Science) Associate of Applied Science Degree program – provides students with opportunities to develop or improve the knowledge and skills necessary for securing initial employment or for upgrading their present skills
- Office Administration Certification Program – designed to prepare students for clerical positions in the shortest possible time
What can I do with it?
Graduates are prepared for careers in business, industry and government as executive secretaries, office managers, administrative secretaries, office technical support personnel, administrative assistants, office professionals, secretaries, receptionists, word processors, transcriptionists and general office assistants.
