Director of Dance Department

Jennifer DeBritton Ward is a choreographer, performer, teacher, lighting designer and producer. Jennifer has taught, choreographed, and done lighting design at Moorpark College and Cerro Coso Community College in CA. Jennifer also has her comprehensive Pilates certification from Body Arts and Science International. Jennifer established her own contemporary dance company Merge Dance Theatre, whose mission is to merge ballet and modern dance forms in new and creative ways. She was a member of the Albano Ballet Company of America in Hartford, CT and she was the chairperson of the Children’s Training Division for their school, the Albano Ballet Academy. Jennifer graduated with her Master of Fine Arts in Dance from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts and has her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from California State University, Long Beach. Jennifer is a former member of Momentum Dance Theater in New York City and Ballet Repertory Theatre and Orange County Ballet Theatre in Huntington Beach, CA. She also was performer in the parades and show support for Disneyland.

Jennifer is the director of the dance department at Darton College here in Albany, GA.
